I found my voice my fall semester of sophomore year when I volunteered to become president of the Political Science Club. I never considered myself a leader before then, but the success of the club has made me believe that I can be the leader I always wanted to be.

I found my voice in the club members that came to our meetings, the Political Science Department with their endless support, and in the College that provided me with the opportunities I needed to get a job and make something of myself. I am proud to say that I am the president of the Political Science Club, because it completely changed my life, and helped me find my voice.
